1) How do I use the Indian language service of e-tapaal?
The language-version you use to sign-up for e-tapaal.com will be your language for composing mails and user     interface. For example, if you want to choose Kannada language take following steps:
  • Go to e-tapaal.com home page and click on 'Kannada' under "Select Language".
  • This will take you to the Kannada service homepage of e-tapaal.
  • If you signup for e-tapaal from here, you will get Kannada as your user interface and composing language.
  • Follow same steps to choose any language service offered by e-tapaal.

Mind you, e-tapaal is a bi-lingual service. This means that in addition to the Indian language you choose, you     can also use English as your user interface and mail composition language. You can switch between English and     your Indian language very easily. To do this go to 'Options', click on 'Indian language  preferences' link and     select the required mail composition and user interface language.

At the compose page, you can switch your mail composition language between English and your Indian     language by just pressing the scroll lock button.

2) I don't know how to type in Indian languages. How can I send a mail in them?
You don't have to learn typing in Indian languages to send mails in them. e-tapaal allows you to type in English     characters what you want to say in the Indian language. For example, if you want to say '®ÜÊÜáÓÝRÃÜ' (namaskara)     in Kannada, type the following 10 alphabets in English: n a m a s k a a r a.

To type this way, go to 'Options' and click on 'Indian language preferences' page. There in the 'Keyboard' menu     choose the 'ENG' layout. 'ENG' stands for English Keyboard.
It is very simple to type in Indian Languages. You will be able to compose fluently only after a few minutes of     practice.
